What is FDLE Fingerprinting?
FDLE Live Scan Fingerprinting is an electronic fingerprinting process used by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to conduct state and federal background checks.
Fingerprints are captured digitally and securely transmitted to FDLE—and when required, the FBI—for identity verification and criminal history screening.
Key benefits:
-
Faster processing than ink fingerprint cards
-
Reduced errors and rejections
-
Secure electronic submission

What Is an ORI Number?
